Different universities are trying to corporate pop culture into their very serious classes in order to get sued is more interested in the subject matter so i'll give you a couple examples u_c_ irvine uh... has a class no dash signs from superheroes to global warming and what they do is being used superheroes to kind of discuss physics whichever interesting it's not my thing and i've never been the type of person who'd be interested in physics but i definitely appreciate creativity when it comes to curriculum and using pop culture as a way to keep it interesting favorite favorite political science professor was actually a community college uh... professor reid or reagan and um... jews conservative too by the way we have many ways he was in the best that i ever had because even though he was very intelligent and use so much about the local sites he always made like these funny pop culture references and wanting became things interesting so i i think it's a great idea another example is virginia state university uh... day talk about gender identity in this one class and they use lady gaga as a way to do that i love you know if there was a very very liberally relation of the gaia right i don't think that i would prefer to picasa nobody nobody gaga honestly but that might favor class evidences for loss of the in star trek which has been talked since two thousand four bi female professor which i think is interesting and i looked up and she's quite attractive actually really yeah the class they they they go into the difference between the mind of the brain uh... defining what a person is the reality of tension only about time travel i think that class and fast enough i'm not a huge star trek person but i totally agree we can work and yet but yet it sounds really interesting and slick star struck at a lot of like political philosophy and it as well and we every episode basically had some sort of sociological or political or philosophical topic behind that right that's why i think that it's a no brainer you star trek when it comes to some course material and i would definitely be interested in that class as well so i'd like that but you got to keep young people interested in your class like the monotone professor is never really going to be a great educator but being created using pop culture trying to connect with the students on a different level i think makes a lot more centers get so mad win grade school teachers that are young get fired or laid off due to budget cuts and because the fact that they would have the seniority to remain in the school right ads always the young teachers to get fired first andy to keep in mind usually it's like the young educators who were the most motivated in most willing to connect with the students on a different level yeah i had a young man i execuse actually graduating from a few classes that it's okay to use a star of every class with a little bit of a song from uh... rapper named immortal technique not because political like wrapping yahoos it was awesome and love that i think that's the best we had to take care
